Cousins Properties Incorporated (NYSE: CUZ) announced today that its Board of Directors has authorized the repurchase of up to $100 million of its outstanding common shares over the next two years. Cousins anticipates funding the share repurchase program with proceeds from non-core asset sales.
Cousins Properties is a self-administered and self-managed real estate investment trust. Co. conducts substantially all of its business through its subsidiary, Cousins Properties LP (CPLP). CPLP owns Co.'s subsidiary, Cousins TRS Services LLC, which owns and manages its own real estate portfolio and performs certain real estate related services for other parties. Co.'s segments are based on the property type and geographical area. The segments by property type are: Office and Non-Office. The segments by geographical region are: Atlanta, GA Austin, TX, Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Tampa, FL, and other markets.
