Nordson Corporation (NASDAQ:NDSN) today announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the repurchase of up to an additional $200 million of the Company's common shares. This new authorization adds capacity to the Board's December 2014 authorization to repurchase $300 million of shares, under which approximately $147 million remained available for share repurchases at the quarter ended July 31, 2015.
Nordson is a technology company that engages in engineering, manufacturing and marketing of products and systems used for precision dispensing, applying and controlling of adhesives, coatings, polymers, sealants, biomaterials, and other fluids, to test and inspect for quality, and to treat and cure surfaces and various medical products. Co. has three segments: Industrial Precision Solutions, which delivers proprietary dispensing and material processing technology; Medical and Fluid Solutions, which includes fluid management solutions; and Advanced Technology Solutions, which integrates Co.'s proprietary product technologies into the progressive stages of a customer's production processes.
