Wabash (NYSE:WNC), the innovation leader of connected solutions for the transportation, logistics and distribution industries, today announced its Board of Directors authorized the company's repurchase of up to an additional $150 million of the company's common stock. With this increase to the existing repurchase authorization, the company's total outstanding repurchase authorization is approximately $180 million. Stock repurchases under this authorization may be made in the open market or in private transactions at times and in amounts determined by the Company at its discretion.
Wabash National provides solutions for the transportation, logistics, and distribution industries. Co.'s business segments include: Transportation Solutions, which comprises the design and manufacturing operations for Co.'s transportation-related equipment and products including dry and refrigerated van trailers, platform trailers, and its wood flooring production facility; and Parts & Services (P&S), which is comprised of each of Co.'s segments' parts and services businesses as well as the upfitting component of its truck bodies business. Co.'s Composites business, which focuses on the use of DuraPlate® composite panels beyond the semi-trailer market, is also part of the P&S segment.
