Description:
RiverBanc Multifamily Investors, Inc. (the "Company"), a Maryland corporation, today announced that it has commenced the underwritten initial public offering of 3,800,000 shares of its common stock (the "Offering") pursuant to a registration statement filed on Form S-11 with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Company was formed to acquire and manage a diverse portfolio of structured investments in multifamily apartment communities and intends to qualify and elect to be taxed as a real estate investment trust for the year ending December 31, 2015. In connection with the Offering, the Company intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 570,000 shares of its common stock at the initial public offering price. The estimated price range for the initial public offering is $19.00 to $20.00 per share of common stock. After pricing the Offering, the Company expects that its common stock will trade on the NASDAQ Capital Market under the symbol "RMI".
