Hroux-Devtek Inc. (TSX: HRX), ("Hroux-Devtek" or the "Corporation"), a leading Canadian manufacturer of aerospace products, announces it has acquired the entire share capital of U.K.-based APPH Limited and U.S.-based APPH Wichita, Inc. (together "APPH"), subsidiaries of BBA Aviation Plc (LSE: BBA). APPH is an integrated provider of landing gear and hydraulic systems and assemblies for original equipment manufacturer ("OEM") and aftermarket applications.
Heroux-Devtek is engaged in the design, development, manufacture and repair of aerospace and industrial products. Co. operates two segments. The Aerospace segment supplies landing gear (including spare parts, repair and overhaul services) and airframe structural components including kits to the commercial and military sectors. In the commercial sector, Co. is active in business jet, regional jet, regional turboprop, helicopters and commercial jet markets. The Industrial segment supplies components for power generation (industrial gas turbine and wind turbine) and other industrial products of the Industrial Product Line (heavy machinery and earth moving equipment).
