Maple Leaf Green World Inc. (TSX VENTURE:MGW) ("Maple Leaf" or the "Corporation") announces that it has agreed to sell its wholly owned China Subsidiary, Inner Mongolia Maple Leaf Reforestation Co. Ltd. (the "Subsidiary"), which holds 100% of the rights and title to its Inner Mongolia Greenhouse, for 4 million Rmb (approximately Cdn $690,000). The sale is being made to a private group that is represented by a Canadian citizen based in Vancouver (the "Purchaser").
Maple Leaf Reforestation is engaged in developing its eco-agriculture nursery business. Co. is exploring opportunities for renewable energy businesses in the People's Republic of China. Co. has not generated significant revenue to cover expenditures, and therefore has incurred recurring losses since inception.
