Xoom acquired BlueKite for approximately $15 million in cash and equity.
Xoom is engaged in the digital consumer-to-consumer international money transfer industry. Co.'s customers use Co. to send money to and pay bills for family and friends around the world. As of Dec 31 2014, Co. provided money transfer services from the U.S. to 32 countries and its cross-border bill payment services from the U.S. to five countries. All Co.'s transactions originate online, without the costs or inconvenience of initiating a transaction at a physical agent location or bank. Co.'s services are available over the Internet or through a mobile device on its website at www.xoom.com or through its mobile application.
