8x8, Inc. (NASDAQ:EGHT), a provider of cloud communications and collaboration solutions, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of UK-based Voicenet Solutions, Inc. for $18.4 million in cash.
8x8 is a Software-as-a-Service provider of voice, video, chat, contact center, and application programmable interface (API) solutions powered by one cloud communications platform. Co. provides its customers a portfolio of voice, video, contact center, chat and team collaboration, communication APIs and business analytics solutions which include: 8x8 Virtual Office, which is a self-contained end-to-end solution that delivers voice, secure video meetings and unified communications-as-a-service globally; and 8x8 Meetings, which is a cloud-based video conferencing and collaboration solution that enables secure collaboration with video and audio communications from mobile and desktop devices.
