Ruckus Wireless, Inc. (NYSE: RKUS) announced today that is has acquired privately-held YFind Technologies Private Limited, a pioneer in indoor positioning and real-time location analytics.
Ruckus Wireless is a supplier of Wi-Fi solutions. Co.'s solutions, called Smart Wi-Fi, are used by service providers and enterprises to address network capacity and coverage issues associated with increasing traffic and number of users on wireless networks. Co.'s Wi-Fi solutions are marketed under the SmartCell, ZoneDirector, ZoneFlex and Xclaim brands. Under these brand and product names, Co. provides a range of indoor and outdoor access points, wireless local area network controllers, gateways and network management software, Wi-Fi-related applications and cloud, or software-based, services.
