Details: EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE:EME) today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire RepconStrickland, Inc. ("RepconStrickland"), a leading provider of recurring turnaround and specialty services to the North American refinery and petrochemical markets. EMCOR is acquiring the privately held company in an all cash transaction valued at approximately $455 million from its shareholders, including its majority shareholder, an affiliate of ArcLight Capital Partners, LLC, an energy focused private equity fund.

EMCOR Group is a specialty contractor in the U.S. and a provider of electrical and mechanical construction and facilities services, building services, and industrial services. Co. provides construction services and building services directly to corporations, municipalities and federal and state governmental entities, owners/developers, and tenants of buildings. Co. also provides its construction services indirectly by acting as a subcontractor to general contractors, systems suppliers, construction managers, developers, property managers, and other subcontractors. Co.'s industrial services are generally provided directly to refineries and petrochemical plants.
