TriState Capital Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSC) today closed its previously announced acquisition of Chartwell Investment Partners, L.P., an investment management firm with about 150 institutional clients and $7.5 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31, 2013.
TriState Capital Holdings is a bank holding company. Through its bank subsidiary, Co. serves middle-market businesses in its primary markets throughout the states of Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey and New York and it also serves individuals on a national basis through its private banking channel. Co.'s segments include: Bank, which provides commercial banking products and services to middle-market businesses and private banking products and services to individuals; and Investment Management, which provides investment management services primarily to institutional investors, mutual funds and individual investors.
