(OTI) (NASDAQ: OTIV), a global leader in cashless payment solutions based on contactless transactions and near-field communication (NFC), has closed the sale of its SmartID division to SuperCom Ltd. (NASDAQ: SPCB), a global provider of traditional and digital identity solutions.
SuperCom is a provider of digital identity solutions, IoT and connectivity solutions, and cyber security products and solutions, to governments and private and public organizations. Co. is comprised of three Strategic Business Units: e-Government, which provides solution for biometrics enrollment, personalization, issuance and border control services; IoT and Connectivity, which identifies, tracks and monitors people or objects in real time; and Cyber Security, which provides data protection guarding against corporate data loss and theft through content discovery and inspection, encryption methodologies, and device and port control.
