GLENTEL Inc. announced the signing of a binding agreement through its wholly-owned United States of America subsidiary GLENTEL (USA), Inc. to purchase 100% of the ownership of Automotive Technologies, Inc. ("ATI") dba Wireless Zone, a 428-store franchise system in the United States that sells Verizon Wireless products and services.
GLENTEL is a provider of wireless communications services and solutions, offering a range of network carrier and wireless or mobile products and services to consumers and commercial customers. Co. provides wireless systems and hardware, rental equipment, and system implementation services to its business and government customers. At Dec 31 2013, Co. operated more than 1,420 locations, including more than 485 locations in Canada, located in retail malls, Costco Wholesale stores, Target retail stores, and business centres; more than 750 corporate, franchise, and BJ's Wholesale Inc. kiosk retail locations in the U.S.; and more than 175 retail locations in Australia and the Philippines.
