Bunge North America, the North American operating arm of Bunge Limited (NYSE: BG), announced that it has purchased the assets of Corn Flour Producers, LLC. Financial terms of the acquisition have not been released.
Bunge is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is an agribusiness and food company. Co.'s segments include: Agribusiness, which is principally involved in the purchase, storage, transport, processing and sale of agricultural commodities and commodity products; Food and Ingredients, which consist of two reportable business segments: edible oil and milling products; and Fertilizer, which is involved in producing, blending and distributing a range of liquid and dry NPK fertilizers, including nitrogen-based liquid and solid phosphate fertilizers.
