Slide #49. KKR — Mitchell International
Aurora Capital Group ("Aurora"), a Los Angeles-based private equity firm with over $2 billion of assets under management, today announced that it has completed the previously announced sale of Mitchell International, a leading provider of technology, connectivity and information solutions to the Property & Casualty (P&C) Claims and Collision Repair industries, to KKR, a New York-based global investment firm. Aurora acquired Mitchell in March 2007 along with co-investors Norwest Equity Partners and GE Pension. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
KKR & Co. is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is an investment firm that manages multiple alternative asset classes including private equity, credit and real assets, with strategic partners that manage hedge funds. Co. operates its asset management business in four business lines: Private Markets, which manage and sponsor a group of private equity funds that invest capital for long-term appreciation; Public Markets, which operate its credit and hedge funds platforms on a combined basis; Capital Markets, which is comprised of its global capital markets business; and Principal Activities, which manage the firm's own assets on its balance sheet and deploys capital.
