TMX Group today announced that it has completed the acquisition of the transfer agent and corporate trust services business from Equity Financial.
TMX Group operates global markets, and builds digital communities and analytics solutions that facilitate the funding, growth and success of businesses, traders and investors. Co.'s key subsidiaries operate cash and derivatives markets and clearinghouses for multiple asset classes including equities, and fixed income. Co. has organized its business into the following principal areas: Capital Formation; Equities and Fixed Income Trading and Clearing; Derivatives Trading and Clearing; and Global Solutions, Insights and Analytics (which includes TMX Datalinx (information services), Co-location Services and Trayport.
