Mullen Group Ltd. ("Mullen Group" and/or the "Corporation") announced the closing of the previously announced acquisition of Jay's Moving & Storage Ltd. ("Jay's" and/or the "Company"). Jay's has been in business since 1964 and is a recognized leader in the Saskatchewan less-than-truckload transportation business. The Company will operate as an indirectly, wholly-owned subsidiary of Mullen Group.
Mullen Group conducts its business through wholly-owned (either directly or indirectly) subsidiaries and limited partnerships (collectively, the Business Units). Co. is a supplier of trucking and logistics services in Canada providing a range of service offerings including less-than-truckload, truckload, warehousing, logistics, transload, oversized and focusing on hauling transportation. In addition, Co. provides a set of services related to the energy, mining, forestry and construction industries in western Canada, including water management, fluid hauling and environmental reclamation.
