In a strategic move to aggressively expand its industry-leading third-party property management expertise, Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL) today announced that it has acquired Means Knaus Partners (MKP), a Houston-based property management company. The transaction will boost JLL's portfolio of office space under management by approximately 16 million square feet with properties located primarily in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Orlando and Tampa.
Jones Lang LaSalle is a professional services firm that engages in real estate and investment management. Co. delivers an array of services across four business segments. Co. manage its Real Estate Services offerings across three geographic business segments: the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Asia Pacific, and Co. manages its investment management business globally as LaSalle Investment Management. In its Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific operating segments, Co. provides a range of leasing, capital markets, integrated property and facility management, project management, advisory, consulting, valuations and digital solutions services.
