("Virgin Media") (NASDAQ:VMED) in a stock and cash merger valued at approximately $24 billion. |

Co. provides residential and business-to-business (B2B) communication services in United Kingdom and Ireland through Virgin Media Inc., Belgium through Telenet Group Holding N.V., Switzerland, Poland and Slovakia through various wholly-owned subsidiaries. Co. owns a 50% noncontrolling interest in a 50:50 joint venture between Vodafone Group plc (Vodafone) and Co. (the VodafoneZiggo JV), which provides residential and B2B communication services in the Netherlands.
