(NYSE: MEG) and privately held New Young Broadcasting Holding Co., Inc., both local broadcast television and digital media companies, today announced a definitive agreement to combine the two companies in an all-stock merger transaction. The new company will retain the Media General name and will remain headquartered in Richmond, VA.
Montrose Environmental Group services environmental needs of clients across three business segments: Assessment, Permitting and Response (provides scientific advisory and consulting services to support environmental assessments, environmental emergency response and recovery, toxicology consulting and environmental audits and permits, facility upgrades, new projects, decommissioning projects and development projects); Measurement and Analysis (testing and laboratory services); and Remediation and Reuse (provides engineering, design, implementation and operations and maintenance services to treat contaminated water, remove contaminants from soil or create biogas from agricultural waste).
