Contrans Group Inc. announced today that it has acquired Deuce Disposal Ltd., a waste collection business located in Slave Lake, Alberta. Since 1981, Deuce Disposal has grown in the Slave Lake area providing a full range of waste collection services including residential waste collection and recycling, commercial waste collection and recycling, metals processing, and custom waste bin solutions to the oilfield service facilities in the region. It is expected that this acquisition will produce annual revenue of approximately $9 million.
Contrans Group is a provider of freight transportation services to shippers located in Canada as well as in the eastern, mid-western and southern United States. Co. provides a range of services including vans, flatbeds, tanks, bulk, logistics and waste collection. Vans provide shipments in closed vans throughout Canada and the United States. Flatbeds provide shipments on open trailers primarily throughout Canada and the United States. Tanks provide shipments of liquid and dry bulk material in enclosed tank trailers. Bulk provides shipments in dump and waste trailers. Logistics provide service for global shipping requirements. Waste Collection provides waste and recycling collection services.
