CECO Environmental Corp., a leader in air pollution control technology systems, product recovery and filtration technology, has announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Met-Pro Corporation. Met-Pro is a leading global, niche-oriented provider of product recovery, pollution control, fluid handling and filtration solutions across multiple diversified end-markets. The transaction is expected to be accretive to CECO's earnings per share, margins and cash flow.
CECO Environmental focuses on engineering, designing, building, and installing systems that capture, clean and destroy air and water borne emissions from industrial facilities, as well as fluid handling, gas separation, and filtration systems. Co.'s segments are: Engineered Systems, which provides environmental and equipment protection through its engineered platforms including emissions management, fluid bed cyclones, thermal acoustics, separation and filtration, and dampers and expansion joints; and Industrial Process Solutions, which protects the air, maintains clean and safe operations, lowers energy consumption and minimizes waste through its platforms including duct and installation.
