Co. is a residential real estate finance company focused on acquiring, investing in and managing residential mortgage assets in the U.S. Co. is externally managed by Cherry Hill Mortgage Management, LLC, an investment adviser. Co. operates its business through the following segments: investments in residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) and investments in Servicing Related Assets. Co.'s primary targeted asset classes consist of: RMBS, including Agency RMBS; and Servicing Related Assets consisting of mortgage servicing rights (MSRs) and Excess MSRs.
