Keating Capital is an externally managed, non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. Co. is engaged in making pre-initial public offering investments in companies that are committed to and capable of becoming public. Co. may also purchase equity securities of companies that meet its investment criteria directly from existing or former management or early stage investors in private secondary transactions, or from existing or former non-management employees where the portfolio company or its management is coordinating the transaction process. Keating Investments, LLC serves as Co.'s investment adviser and also provides it with the administrative services for Co. to operate.
