Life Storage is a self-administered and self-managed real estate company that acquires, owns and manages self-storage properties. Co. refers to the self-storage properties in which Co. has an ownership interest, lease, and/or are managed by Co. as Properties. Co. has an ownership interest in and/or manages self-storage properties in various states and the District of Columbia. Co.'s Properties in the U.S. conduct business under the name Life Storage®. Co. owns a direct or indirect interest in the Properties through its subsidiary, Life Storage LP, which includes wholly-owned properties and properties owned by unconsolidated joint ventures.
