Rentech is a wood fibre processing company with three core businesses: contract wood handling and chipping services, the manufacture and sale of wood pellets for the heating market and the manufacture, aggregation and sale of wood pellets for the utility and industrial power generation market. Co.'s wood handling and chipping services business includes Fulghum Fibres, Inc. (Fulghum), which provides wood yard operations services and wood fibre processing services, and sells wood chips to the pulp, paper and packaging industry. In addition, Co.'s wood pellet business includes New England Wood Pellet, LLC, which produces wood pellets for the U.S. residential and commercial heating markets.
