Snyder's-Lance, Inc. (Nasdaq-GS: LNCE), has acquired substantially all assets of Stateline Service Corporation ("Stateline"), a snack food distributor in Massachusetts. This acquisition is part of the Company's plans to continue growing and strengthening its national distribution network.
Snyder's-Lance manufactures, distributes, markets and sells snack food products, including pretzels, sandwich crackers, kettle cooked chips, pretzel crackers, cookies, potato chips, tortilla chips, nuts, crackers, and other salty snacks. Additionally, Co. purchases certain cake products and meat snacks sold under its brands. Co.'s products are packaged in various single-serve, multi-pack and family-size configurations. Co.'s products are principally sold under trademarks owned by Co. Co. also sells Partner brand products, which consist of other third-party branded products that it sells to its independent business owners through its direct-store-delivery distribution network.
