(NASDAQ:PHMD) today announced that its Radiancy, Inc. subsidiary has acquired LK Technology Importa?o E Exporta?o LTDA (LK), a privately-held distributor in Brazil, and plans to begin marketing and selling its no!no! products in Brazil as early as the third quarter of 2013. Total consideration of the transaction is US $100,000 plus profits resulting from LK's legacy activity during a transition period.
PhotoMedex is in the process of transitioning from a skin health company providing medical and cosmetic solutions for dermatological conditions to a real estate investment company holding investments in a variety of existing and future projects, including residential developments, commercial properties such as gas station sites, and hotels and resort communities.
