As of Dec. 31, 2015, Co.'s store network comprised 3,512 stores, primarily food supermarkets. Co. divides its operations into three geographical segments: United States, Belgium (including operations in Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg), and Southeastern Europe ( including operations in Greece, Serbia, and Romania). In addition to food retailing, Co. engages in food wholesaling and non-food retailing of products such as pet products, health and beauty care products, prescriptions, and other household and personal products.
