Buyback Details:	Equity Commonwealth (NYSE:EQC) announced today that its Board of Trustees authorized the repurchase of $150 million of its outstanding common shares over the next 12 months under the company's existing share repurchase program. The prior authorization will expire on March 15, 2018.

Equity Commonwealth is a holding company. Through its subsidiary, EQC Operating Trust, Co. is an internally managed real estate investment trust. Co. is primarily engaged in the ownership and operation of office buildings in the U.S.
