(NYSE:IFF) (Euronext Paris: IFF), a leading innovator of sensory experiences that move the world, announced that its Board of Directors has approved an extension of its existing share repurchase authorization through 2022, with a total value of $300 million, including approximately $50 million remaining on its prior authorization. The purchases will be made from time to time on the open market or through private transactions as market and business conditions warrant. Repurchased shares will be placed into treasury stock.
International Flavors & Fragrances is a creator and manufacturer of food, beverage, health and biosciences, scent and pharma solutions and complementary adjacent products. Co.'s business segments are: Nourish, which comprises food ingredients, flavor compounds, and savory solutions and inclusions; Health and Biosciences, which comprises a portfolio of enzymes, food cultures, probiotics and other ingredients for food, home and personal care, and health and wellness applications; Scent, which creates fragrance compounds, fragrance ingredients and cosmetic ingredients and personal care products; and Pharma Solutions, which produces cellulosics and seaweed-based pharma excipients.
